How it compares

These tools do different jobs. Project databases are better for bid documents and all-trades coverage. utilitydocket covers the public records about utilities near you that come before an RFQ. Prices as published or as reported by a third party, with the date we checked.

ToolPriceWhat it doesFor this buyer
utilitydocket $399/mo per office territory; $199/mo founding (first 20 firms, until December 31, 2026). Monthly, no contract. UCMR 5 PFAS results above 4.0 ppt, ECHO enforcement orders, TWDB project priority list rows and SDWIS violations within a radius of your office, each linked to its record. No RFQs, bid documents or award results. Only Texas has all four sources. We don't know who a utility's engineer is.
ConstructConnect Starter $129/mo for 1 market (bidding projects only). Professional from $199/mo per market, per seat, annual contract required. Premium from $10,000/yr. (constructconnect.com/pricing, checked Nov 7, 2026) Construction project leads with plans, specs and contacts across all trades. Its plan pages list bidding and planning projects. We found no mention of UCMR 5 PFAS results, ECHO enforcement orders or the TWDB priority list, and no sorting of those records by distance from your office.
Dodge Construction Network Not published. SelectHub lists "$300/User, Monthly" (a third-party figure, not Dodge's own price). (selecthub.com, checked Nov 7, 2026) Planning-to-bid project intelligence. Same gap for these records. Priced per user.
Deltek GovWin IQ Not published. Vendr shows a median of $20,577/yr across all Deltek products (range $9,546–$70,000, 35 purchases, updated Feb 2026). (vendr.com/marketplace/deltek, checked Nov 7, 2026) Pre-RFP government opportunity tracking. Built for procurement tracking, not water-quality or enforcement records.
GovSpend Vendr median $11,576/yr (range $7,900–$49,470, 37 purchases, updated Feb 2026). (vendr.com/marketplace/gov-spend, checked Nov 7, 2026) Government purchasing and bid data. Shows what was bought, not EPA records.
BidNet Direct $599/yr for 1 state, $1,199/yr for 3, $1,999/yr national (from civiciq.com's Aug 2026 review; BidNet's own page returned 403 to us). (civiciq.com review, Aug 2026, checked Nov 7, 2026) Open bid notices from member agencies. Shows RFQs once they exist, and only for member agencies.
CivCast Free for vendors to view and download. (civcastusa.com, checked Nov 7, 2026) Where many Texas MUDs and cities post bids and RFQs. Free and good for live RFQs. It shows nothing before an RFQ is posted.
EPA and TWDB tools (UCMR 5 Data Finder, ECHO, Envirofacts, the TWDB IUP PDF) Free. (epa.gov, twdb.texas.gov, checked Nov 7, 2026) The raw records we use. Doing it yourself means joining four sources by PWS ID and distance by hand.

Pricing questions

How accurate is it?
  • Each row is copied from the government file and re-checked against the raw file before it shows.
  • On Nov 6, 2026 an independent check re-derived 30 random records by hand from the sources. 30 of 30 matched (621 of 621 fields), and 788 of 788 source links opened.
  • If the source is wrong, the row is wrong. That's why every row has its link and a "Wrong record?" button.
Which areas do you cover?
  • Texas: all four sources.
  • Oklahoma and Louisiana: PFAS, enforcement orders and SDWIS violations and contacts, but no state funding list.
  • New Mexico: PFAS and SDWIS.
  • Other states: PFAS results only for now (plus ECHO orders in New Jersey), with no contacts.
  • UCMR 5 sampled only a representative 800 of the systems under 3,300 people, so most small systems have no PFAS data (EPA UCMR 5).
Can other firms see the same territory?

Yes. The records are public and territories aren't exclusive. Nobody else can see which territories or utilities you watch.

How do the trial and cancelling work?
  • 14 days free, no card.
  • After that it's $399/mo per office territory, or $199/mo for the first 20 founding firms (kept while you stay subscribed; offer ends December 31, 2026).
  • Monthly, no contract, cancel anytime. Exports lock when a trial ends without a subscription; your data stays readable.
What do you collect about me?
  • Your email, your territories, and how you use the site and app. We use PostHog analytics with session recording; password and payment fields are masked.
  • We don't sell or share your email or territory. See Privacy.
