The SFY 2027 list

  • 431 projects in Appendix G of the SFY 2027 DWSRF Intended Use Plan, effective Oct 1, 2026: rank, entity, PWS ID, population, requested phases (planning, acquisition, design, construction) and total project cost.
  • Applications are by invitation only. The initial invited list is Appendix K, and each row says whether the project is on it.

How we match rows to water systems

  • We join on the PWS ID TWDB printed, then check that SDWIS names the same entity. 390 printed PWS IDs are verified.
  • 36 are held for review, mostly subdivisions of one private owner whose systems have other names. Those rows show the project with no contact attached and never count toward a PFAS system "on the list."

What the list does not prove

  • Not funding, approval or an award. A rank is a place in line for an invitation to apply.
  • Not that the project is still open, or that no engineer is engaged. TWDB applications are usually prepared by one.
  • The Clean Water SRF list (wastewater) isn't in the product yet.
