Who we are
utilitydocket is operated by Helios One Oy, 3075 Clay St, San Francisco, CA 94115 ("we").
What we collect
- What you give us: your email address, the territories you look up or save, and anything you write in a form ("Wrong record?", a call request, feedback).
- How you use the site and app: pages viewed, clicks, form use and session recordings (PostHog). Password and payment fields are masked in recordings.
- Where you came from: the referring page and campaign tags (UTM) of your first and latest visit.
- Technical data: IP address (used to tell people from automated traffic and to keep the service safe), browser and device type.
- Identifiers: a random visitor ID stored in your browser's local storage, and PostHog's own cookie and local storage, so a visit and a later sign-up can be connected.
Why
- To show you the records for your territory and send the files and emails you ask for.
- To run your trial or subscription and tell you when it ends.
- To understand what works and what confuses people, and to fix it.
- To keep the service safe from abuse.
Who processes it for us
- Fly.io (hosting), Convex (database and API), PostHog, EU cloud (analytics and session recording), Resend (email), and Stripe once billing opens (payments).
We don't sell your data or share your email or territories with anyone else.
The records themselves
The records we show come from public government sources (EPA and TWDB). They include the administrator of each water system as listed by the state in EPA's SDWIS. If you are one of those administrators and something is wrong, use "Wrong record?" on the row and we will check it against the source.
How long we keep it
Account data for as long as your account exists. Analytics and recordings for up to two years. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: use the form on Book a call with a note, or write to the address above.
- Unsubscribe from any email with the link in it.
- Block analytics with your browser's tracking protection; the site still works.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we update the date above and tell account holders by email.
